ART4ACTION

I am delighted to be part of Art4Action, a Dorset-based organisation that supports local artists and assists charitable causes.

Since 2020 when Art4Action was formed, it has raised over £6000 for charity through auctions and exhibitions.

The current project is an online auction to raise funds for The Careline Appeal. The Appeal aims to help people in Dorset to maintain their independence within the community, by sponsoring the rental and monitoring of a special Lifeline unit. By simply pressing a small pendant they can summon help at any time.

The Charity aims to assist the elderly, the disabled, those who are terminally ill, victims of crime and victims of domestic violence and more recently child carers. In essence, anyone who for whatever reason, may be vulnerable and who fall outside the criteria for assistance from other agencies.
