The Royal Bath & West is Somerset’s biggest show, spread across 240 acres south of Shepton Mallet and filled with everything from livestock parades and showjumping to artisan markets, live music, local food, vintage vehicles and hands-on crafts.
The Art Exhibition has been part of the show for more than 100 years, championing both amateur and professional artists from across the South West. In the dedicated Art Pavilion, visitors can view more than 350 works including paintings, sculpture, drawings and original prints — all available to purchase.
I’m thrilled that two of my paintings, Summer Lightning and Abundance, have been selected for display. Only problem is, the dates of the show clash with Dorset Art Weeks, when I’m tethered to my home studio, so I won’t be able to go ☹️
