Bridport Art Society Easter Exhibition in The Salt House

From the late 17th century, Bridport fishermen would set sail every spring, bound for the waters off Canada, their boats loaded with salt to preserve the catch on the return journey. The Salt House in West Bay was where the salt was stored on shore. It has since been used as a milking parlour, a cycle hire shop, and a museum/information centre – and it’s now a community hall where Bridport Art Society hold their Easter exhibition.

You can view the work of around thirty local artists (including me!) in this wonderfully atmospheric seaside venue over the Easter weekend.
